This program is designed to produce a list of UK parishes that lie within a specified distance of a given location. The main use is for genealogists who wish to produce a list of parishes adjacent to their parish of main interest, where stray ancestors may have settled. Most parishes in England, Wales and Scotland are covered.

To obtain a copy, visit the download page where you will be prompted to type your name in a pop-up window. You must follow the link to the standard terms and conditions before you will be allowed to download the files. Please read them carefully! Note that you are restricted to four download attempts in any ten day period; this is due to bandwidth restrictions.

IMPORTANT: The download page needs to set a browser cookie to work properly. If your browser has cookies disabled, then you may get strange results!! In Netscape, select the Edit menu, followed by Preferences and choose Advanced. Click on the Allow Cookies option. In Internet Explorer, the same menu may be obtained under View then Options then Advanced.
